Educational Conference 2026

STRONGER TOGETHER: STORIES OF CONNECTION & COMMUNITY

Please join us for our 32nd annual community-focused conference hosted by NAMI Syracuse, the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. This empowering event brings individuals, families, community leaders, health care providers, and mental health organizations together to explore how we can leverage a more supportive and connected community for everyone.

32nd Annual Educational Conference

  • Wednesday, September 23rd, 7:30am – 3:30pm
  • NEW LOCATION – DoubleTree by Hilton off Carrier Circle. Thank you for helping us grow and meet the needs of our community!
  • We are thrilled to host seven engaging speakers offering meaningful insights and stories on emerging approaches to mental health, local crisis services, addressing biases in healthcare, and LGBTQIA+ wellness.
  • We are also hosting an engaging panel discussion addressing connection and community from leaders at AccessCNY, Contact Community Services, Helio Health and Onondaga County Department of Children and Family Services.
  • ART SHOW – Recovery Through Art.

This year we are also featuring an art show from a local artist who lives with mental illness and has been creating art at the Unique Peerspectives program through Access CNY. Brandon Shaw has channeled a lifelong, family-supported passion for creativity into an outlet for personal healing.
