NAMI Syracuse welcomes the opportunity to get out into the community to raise awareness about the importance of mental health

We are willing to do short presentations about NAMI and mental illness at schools, health fairs, churches, libraries, or any other organization. Our goal is to decrease stigma, inform people about services and support, and offer hope. Recently our board members spoke with West Genesee High School students in collaboration with Onondaga Free Library.

Please contact the NAMI Syracuse office at 315-487-2085 if you would like to request a speaker.

Ending the Silence

NAMI Ending the Silence is a presentation designed for middle and high school students, school staff, and parents or guardians of middle or high school aged youth. Audiences learn about the signs and symptoms of mental health conditions, how to recognize the early warning signs and the importance of acknowledging those warning signs.
