Music for Mental Health Event Reminder & More Info!

On Saturday, January 6, 2018, Oswego, NY resident and musician John McConnell and friends are hosting  an event called Music for Mental Health (MFMH). John is the creator of MFMH. He is organizing this event in conjunction with Zink Screen Printing & Design and Oswego Industries.

MFMH will take place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The American Foundry in Oswego, NY (246 W Seneca St). John’s goal is to rally the community around an evening of live music that seeks to raise awareness for mental health issues and helps to lessen the stigma associated with mental illness.

Proceeds from this event will be donated to NAMI Syracuse.

Music for Mental Health will feature performances by: John McConnell, Gary Carpentier (NBC’s The Voice), Cam Caruso, The Love Volcanoes and many other fine Central New York musicians. MFMH will feature exhibits by local professional counseling services and other organizations. As part of the evening’s events there will be a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, and a table raffle featuring: gift certificates, gift baskets, and other items donated by local and regional businesses.
